Pen Griffey has great news for his fans!
The Louisville slugger has been heavily in the studio putting the final touches on his forthcoming sophomore album and earlier tonight, he has finally confirmed the project’s official title. True to Self is the name and just last year he released a buzz record called, “Let Me Explain” in preparation for the new music. Previously, it was reported that the name of the album would be called, She’s Got My Soul but that was just another rumor.
Recently, Young Tiller was in the lab with Drake working on the 6 God’s More Life album. The Platinum-selling star took to Twitter earlier to confirm that he’s solely focused on completing the LP, “non-stop until it’s finished. then it’s yours.”
True to Self is the follow-up to 2015’s Trap Soul, which featured the singles “Don’t” and “Exchange.” The album was certified Platinum by the RIAA through sales and streaming.
