With tons of music industry experience under his belt, and having sung background for artists like Mary J. Blige, Queen Latifah, and LL Cool J, singer/songwriter SiFred “KeyNote” Mitchell didn’t plan on being in the forefront, but thanks to many of his colleagues who convinced him, he decided to give it a shot. In the past, he’s worked in the A&R dept for MCA Records (which is now known as Geffen), and was hands on for the projects of Chante Moore, Avant, and Mary J. Blige. Fast forward to today, SiFred presents to you his brand new single, “Love U” from his debut album, Rooftops, Fire Escapes & Subway Cars. The single will be available for download on iTunes July 3rd. On the album, he’s worked with producers such as Ron Lawrence, Kenny “Smoove” Kornegay and Miykal Snoddy just to name a few. Let us know what you think of the single below!
