Daisy Grant, a New Jersey native (who co-wrote on “Spoke Too Soon” by Shaliek Rivers) is stepping out from behind the boards to showcase her talent as an artist. Nicki Minaj released the teaser single for her up coming sophomore album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded (though, I have a feeling it’ll either be a re-issue of Pink Friday, EP or mixtape), due out Valentine’s Day, 2012. The SAROM and Streetrunner beat is hard and Nicki’s Roman’s flow and lyrics are even harder, but with the expected animated and comical twist. His latest gig finds him doing several spot dates in Atlantic City, and also on tour with Sunday Best winner, LeAndria Johnson. MusicXclusives.com is putting together a male R&B/Pop group in 2012. The process is pretty simple. If you think you have what it takes to make history with us, record yourself performing a song that best showcases your talent. Then, UPLOAD it onto YouTube, and submit the LINK along with your NAME, AGE, LOCATION, and CONTACT INFO to the email address listed below. You must be located in the Tri-State area (preferably New York City) in order to qualify as a contestant for the audition. Submissions will be accepted through the end of January 2012. MusicXclusives will then contact the best acts for a live audition. Audition dates to be announced.

• Age: 21 and over

• Dancing, harmonizing, studio and on-stage experience is a plus but not required

Please keep in mind this is a group, so you must be able to work well with other, as well as have an impeccable work ethic. A great personality also doesn’t hurt. Be sure to SHOWCASE that in your video. Your first impression is a lasting one, so put your BEST foot forward.

Shaliek Rivers and Dondria teamed up to cover Lyfe Jenning‘s record “Statistics.” The cover is set to be released on an up-coming mixtape featuring many artists covering Lyfe’s songs to coincide with Lyfe’s release from prison in early 2012.
