Alright, back to the 90s we go today. Actually, lets rewind to 1998 to be more specific. Who can forget Mýa’s infectious tune, “Movin’ On” featuring No Limit then rapper, Silkk The Shocker (remember him? lol). Okay so yeah, this was the official ladies anthem back in the day, or at least the young girls loved this song and could relate. The record, which peaked at #34 on the Billboard Hot 100 (#4 on R&B/Hip-Hop charts) was produced by Darryl “Day” Pearson and written by Mýa, Mark “Sisqo” Andrew (Dru Hill), Darryl Pearson, Gary Wright, and Vyshonne Miller. Vocal arrangements by Sisqo. You all know Mýa started off in the game with Dru Hill (representing the DMV area). Mýa is from DC and Dru Hill being from Maryland. Today, Mýa is currently releasing new music and recently released her sixth studio album, K.I.S.S. a few months ago independently.
